Who We Are
Our Heart
We are a church that connects with God and others through the means of prayers, discipleship, and serving together. We are a worshiping community of families, young and old, who are responding to Jesus’ call in our lives.
We believe that the great blessing of God is that we are able to live in relationship with other people - all kinds of other people: younger and older, professional and blue collar, children and seniors, families and singles.
We are called to explore what it means to be together and we do this through Sunday morning worship, but also through several different programs during the week:

Our History
Ministries
Children's Ministry
Loving kids and teaching them in "the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it" ​(Proverbs 22:6) is at the core of the children's ministry.

We offer programs on Sundays like Little Bible Followers, and Followers of the Way to get the children excited about God and following Him.
Youth Ministry
Here at the Nazarene Church on Humboldt & E Street, we know that our youth are craving leadership and guidance. That leadership is our savior Jesus Christ. We believe in molding a Christ-centered life through bible studies, games, relationship-building events, and giving tools to identify what is Christ-led.
The Youth Group meets on Tuesday Nights (September through May) from 6:30 p.m. p.m.-7:30pm in the Gym at the Eureka First Church of the Nazarene and on Sundays in the Teen room during service. Be on the lookout for game nights, teen camps, and service projects!
Women's Ministries
At Eureka Naz MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), we come together as a community of moms who seek authentic connections, support, and personal growth. Our group is a warm, inviting place where you can come just as you are to be refreshed and encouraged.
All moms are welcome! Our group meets twice a month on select Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30am. Our first meeting of the month includes childcare, a catered breakfast, and conversation. Our second meeting of the month is a playdate together that meets in various locations in our local community.
