Pastor Steve Berti and his wife Cheryl have five children and five grandchildren.The two of them have been in ministry as laypeople and in full-time ministry for most of their adult lives.

Their passion is to live a Jesus shaped life empowered by the Holy Spirit. Their call is to lead the church,  disciple children, teens, and adults to also live a Jesus shaped life. A Jesus shaped life happens as we connect with God and others through the means of prayer, discipleship, and serving together.

Tim and Christa Jones give this ministry their whole hearts. They know that youth are craving leadership and guidance which is why they serve 6th-12th grade kids in the youth program.

The focuses of the ministry is to equip these young men and women with the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). They encourage the youth to live out a Christ filled life, which includes prayer, worship, and service.

Roger and Debi Sanderson have been married and in the Lord's service for 42 years. Roger has been a worship leader/ music leader for most of that time. God called them to The First Church of The Nazarene and Roger says when he surrendered to the call, "The windows of heaven were opened and the Lord began to pour out many blessings in and around my life".

Roger knew they were in the right place. What had been a church in need of a worship leader/music leader now has three worship teams, each one leading exciting Spirit filled worship. ( John 12:32) 

Jon and Missy both have a passion for recovery ministry and helping people get set free from all hurts, habits, and hang-ups.  Missy has been involved with Christ-centered recovery ministry for 12 years and Jon has been involved for 7.

They have a zeal to see God's healing hand move and change lives. They are happily married with 3 beautiful children at home. They are a family on a mission to see God set the captives free!

Jessica Berti has grown up in the Nazarene church and has been leading MOPS for 3 years. She felt a calling to encourage other mothers of young children and has become a vital leader of the MOPS program at the Nazarene church.

Jessica Berti and her wonderful leadership team endeavors to equip, partner with, and strengthen mothers of young children. 

Jessica's upbringing took place in Humboldt. After completing high school, she left the area briefly and met her future husband, Alejandro. Returning to Humboldt, they started a family and now have four children. The Lord's calling led them to the Nazarene church, which they answered gladly. Jessica's involvement in children's ministry began in high school. Her deep-seated passion for children's ministry stems from her desire to foster meaningful, lasting relationships with Christ. Her primary goal is to instill in every child the knowledge that they are a child of God, loved unconditionally and that the Lord has great plans in store for them.
